Bao playing is widespread throughout East Africa, and the rules of playing are passed on orally from generation to generation. Our bao bingwa (master) will be delighted to teach you the game. Try your hand at the traditional craft of making palm-woven baskets and hats. Learn the art of Swahili cuisine and spices at a chef's master class. Take in some Zanzibari history from our Mwalimu (teacher) who will also teach you how to speak Swahili.
